Key Responsibilities
- Maintains open consulting relationship with the physician to ensure delivery of the most effective medical care.
- Maintain referral base of specialists to provide services for our patient base as needed.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA and agency standards.
- Provide training and orientation for new clinical providers.
- Participate in quality management studies.
- May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Must have proven skills in working independently, self-motivated, goal oriented, strong initiative, and be a self-starter.
- Education: Master level nursing degree
- Licensed Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.

- Provide ongoing guidance and supervision of medical care of patients to other clinical providers.
- Proficiency with data entry (including familiarity with electronic health record systems).
- Possess a strong community health/public health orientation.
Work Schedule
- Must be willing to work at any HSNT location, other than assigned site and be agreeable to work weekends, as responsibilities may dictate.
- May be required to work alternative schedules.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position such as standing or sitting for up to 8 hours per day.
