Program Physician

Key Responsibilities

The Program Physician holds ultimate responsibility for all medical aspects of clinic operations, including patient examinations and treatment evaluations. They work closely with the clinic supervisor and counselors to assess patient progress and participate in staff meetings to achieve program goals.

Requirements

Candidates must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Connecticut and possess Adult CPR/AED or BLS certification. Specialty training in internal medicine or psychiatry and experience with addiction or community medicine are considered desirable qualifications.
