MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Internal Medicine;Primary Care

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity within a medical practice that is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to the local community. As an Associate-level physician, you will play an essential role in providing comprehensive primary care services, managing acute and chronic conditions, and building lasting relationships with patients and their families.

In this position, you will work alongside a collaborative team of physicians, nurses, and administrative professionals who share a common goal of improving patient outcomes.

The practice emphasizes preventive care, continuity of care, and a team-based approach, giving you the support and resources needed to focus on what matters most: your patients.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, physical examinations, and medical histories
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory results, and imaging studies
• Prescribe medications and therapies, monitoring patient response and adjusting as needed
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular conditions
• Provide preventive care, including health screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counseling
• Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records for all patient encounters
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical team meetings
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and practice standards

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine/Primary Care
• Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
• DEA registration and current BLS/ACLS certification
• Associate-level clinical experience in primary care or internal medicine
• Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Schedule: 36 clinical hours per week

Call shifts required

Setting: Outpatient

Patient Volume: Up to 20 per day

Caseload: Primary care

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
