Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, physical exams, and develop individualized care plans
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory illness
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging to guide clinical decision-making
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with evidence-based guidelines and state regulations
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, health promotion, and chronic disease management
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care team members to ensure coordinated, whole-person care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system

Requirements

• Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification from AANP or ANCC
• Active or eligible Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of North Carolina
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority (or ability to obtain)
• Experience in primary care, community health, or federally qualified health center (FQHC) settings preferred
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR); experience with eClinicalWorks a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
• Commitment to serving underserved and diverse patient populations
