Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates closely with the shelter Case Management Specialists on needs relating to psychological profiles of residents.

• Assesses clients behavioral health needs, makes treatment recommendations, and links clients with appropriate providers.

• Develops, revises and implements curriculum for educational and life skills groups.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write and communicate the English language effectively.

• Ability to be available 24 hours a day to provide suicide assessments as requested from direct care staff when a client is in crisis.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and intense situations.
