Outpatient Therapist PRN, Behavioral Health

Key Responsibilities

The Outpatient Therapist conducts individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients on psychological, emotional, or substance abuse issues, while actively participating in treatment planning and providing family counseling. Responsibilities also include proactive communication with clients, families, referral sources, and the interdisciplinary team, alongside timely and accurate documentation.

Requirements

Applicants must possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or an equivalent field, along with a current clinical or social work license as mandated by state regulations. Prior experience working with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients is also required, with CPR and CPI Certification needed within 30 days of employment.
