Job Description

Interventional PAIN Management Physician

Full-Time | Jacksonville, Florida | Monday–Friday | Outpatient | No Hospital Call

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our established and growing outpatient practice in the Jacksonville market.

This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who wants to practice high-quality, evidence-based interventional pain medicine in a collaborative environment with experienced providers, dedicated clinical support, and an established referral network.

Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • Outpatient practice setting
  • No hospital rounding or hospital call
  • Shared after-hours telephone call approximately once every 4–6 weeks
  • Strong clinical and administrative support
  • Predictable schedule designed to support a healthy work-life balance

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans focused on improving function and quality of life.
  • Perform a broad range of interventional pain procedures, including:
  • Epidural steroid injections
  • Facet injections
  • Medial branch blocks
  • Radiofrequency ablation
  • Peripheral nerve blocks
  • Evaluate and manage patients who may benefit from advanced therapies,

including:

  • Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS)
  • Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) stimulation
  • Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS)
  • Intrathecal Drug Delivery Systems
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, therapists, and other members of the care team.
  • Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, expectations, and long-term pain management strategies.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Remain current with advances in interventional pain medicine and participate in continuing medical education.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school or foreign equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited Pain Medicine fellowship.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine through:
  • Anesthesiology, or
  • Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
  • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Florida.
  • Experience performing interventional pain procedures.
  • Experience with neuromodulation and implantable therapies preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
