Why Detroit
Detroit is a city in the middle of a genuine renaissance — a place where affordable cost of living, deep cultural roots, and a surprisingly vibrant food and arts scene make it an exceptional place to build a life.
The Detroit Institute of Arts, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and a world-class opera house anchor a cultural core that rivals cities twice its size, while the Detroit River corridor and the region's countless surrounding lakes offer year-round outdoor recreation.
Families benefit from strong school systems and respected universities throughout the metro area, and major professional sports franchises across every major league give the community a shared civic energy that's hard to match.
For physicians who want big-city culture without big-city costs, Detroit consistently overdelivers.
Tenet Physician Resources (TPR) provides the ability for physicians to focus on what matters most - compassionate care to the communities we serve - while we manage the day-to-day operations. TPR offers a wide range of opportunities for professionals to meet career expectations at every stage of life. Practices employ physicians, medical assistants and administrative staff to work in environments with advanced medical equipment, robust data and technology.
