Job Description
A leading home health organization in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join its growing rehabilitation team!
Pay: $41.00 - $45.00/hour
Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunity
- Full-time, permanent, direct-hire position
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule
- Guaranteed weekly pay
- Mileage reimbursement provided

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities
Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction of a Physical Therapist and according to the physician's plan of care
Treat patients to relieve pain, restore function, and maintain maximum performance
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, muscle re-education, and functional activities
Utilize therapeutic modalities including heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and massage as appropriate
Observe and report patient responses to treatment and any changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients on the proper use of assistive devices, wheelchairs, braces, canes, crutches, and orthotic equipment
Physical Therapist Assistant Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associate's Degree required
- Current Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle required

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
Requires a graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associate's Degree. Must hold a current Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license and BLS/CPR certification.
