Job Description
The Physician Assistant assesses, plans and provides patient care under the supervision of a physician. Examines patient, performs comprehensive physical examinations, and compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
Relies on education, experience, professional training and judgment to accomplish responsibilities. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Works under minimal supervision. May lead and direct the work of others within scope of practice.

Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant Medicine or Health Sciences and a valid Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners license. Certification by a recognized national professional accrediting organization and current BLS certification are required.
