About the Role
Work full-time as a Clinician (Nurse Practitioner, Midwife, or Physician Assistant) at the Kalamazoo Health Center. Deliver high-quality gynecological and family planning care in support of Planned Parenthood’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide gynecologic and family planning exams including abortion follow-ups.
- Assess contraceptive needs and prescribe medications/devices.
- Diagnose and treat sexually transmitted infections.
- Perform lab tests and interpret results.
- Provide after-hours telephone triage.
- Educate patients on reproductive health and pregnancy options.
- Participate in chart audits and staff education.
- Occasionally travel to other health centers.
Requirements
- Master’s degree.
- Licensed as Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or Certified Nurse Midwife.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation.
