Job Description
BrightStar Care of Southwest Atlanta & College Park is a licensed in-home care agency serving Fulton County. The agency is contracting licensed physical therapists and occupational therapists to provide in-home therapy to its clients on a per-visit basis.
Engagement
Therapists work as independent contractors and receive a 1099. Referrals are offered case by case. The contractor accepts or declines each case and schedules visits directly with the client. Case volume varies, and no minimum is guaranteed.
Service Area
Fulton County ZIP codes 30309, 30310, 30311, 30314, 30315, 30318, 30320, 30331, 30336, 30337, 30344, 30354, 30363, and 30380. Clients pay privately, through long-term care insurance, or through VA benefits.
Engagement
Independent contractor (1099). No exclusivity, no minimum volume, and no guaranteed cases.
Contractors sign an agreement in advance and are activated when a case arises.
The contractor accepts or declines each case and schedules visits with the client.
Compensation, billing, and payment terms are set in the signed agreement. Where BrightStar pays per visit, the rate is $90–$110 per visit. No mileage or travel reimbursement.
Requirements
- Active Georgia PT or OT license in good standing
- One or more years of clinical experience; home care experience preferred
- Professional liability insurance carried by the contractor
- Individual NPI number
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Background check and license verification before the first assignment
Key Responsibilities
Provide in-home physical or occupational therapy services to clients on a per-visit basis. Manage your own schedule and coordinate directly with clients for service delivery.
