As a full-time, nonexempt Pharmacist-in-Charge, you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy services. This is a hands-on opportunity to make a direct impact by ensuring the accuracy of medication orders, verifying technician-prepared products, and safeguarding controlled substances.
You’ll contribute to a high-performing team by mentoring new staff, maintaining seamless daily operations, and supporting the Director in optimizing pharmacy performance.
Schedule: This full-time, nonexempt position will work 35 hours/week.
Location: Emerus, the nation’s first and largest operator of neighborhood hospitals, has incorporated a new paradigm into patient care that has significantly improved access to health care for thousands of people, many of whom live in underserved areas where high-quality patient-centric acute episodic and ambulatory clinical services are needed most. This position is located in Menomonee Falls, WI.
Pharmacy Hours: The pharmacy utilizes Epic and Omnicell. Pharmacy hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am-3:00pm. Remote pharmacy services are also provided.
Primary Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and dispense medication orders to ensure appropriateness, safety, and accuracy
- Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize medication regimens for hospitalized patients
- Monitor patient outcomes and medication safety, identifying and preventing adverse drug events
- Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance, including DNV, state, and federal requirements

Required Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin Pharmacist license in good standing
- Demonstrated proficient computer skills with pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to Travel up to 10%25
- Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of recent acute care inpatient pharmacist experience
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
