• Local Pay Rate (Locals b/n 35 - 50 miles): $2800 weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hour work week

Travel Pay Rate: $2880 weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

• Shifts available: Days
• Shift timings: 8 Hours; Days, 8.00 am to 4.30 pm

Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 X 8-hr shifts per week, M-F

Position Requirements

• Radiation Therapist experience, 2 years - Required
• 1 year travel experience or 1 year work experience with Varian and ARIA – Required
• Varian TruBeam, ARIA, Trilogy experience - Preferred

Education, License and Certification Requirements

• ARRT (T) Certification - Required
• BLS Certification from AHA - Required

Job Description

• Responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments.
• Perform treatment simulations, fabricates all necessary shielding blocks, and maintain accurate EMR.

Prepares equipment for patient treatments performing quality control and assurance tests, ensuring proper infection control techniques, and adheres to optimal radiation safety and protection practices.

All activities reflect the philosophy, goals, objectives and standards of hospital and nationally accepted standards of practice, provisions of quality patient care, environmental safety and inter-disciplinary cooperation.
