About the Role
Onsite Neonatal at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Allentown, PA, provides daytime in-house coverage with no on-call commitment. Our pediatricians are an integral part of our neonatal care team, working alongside our Neonatologists, who are in-house 24/7. In partnership with hospitals, our programs are grounded in evidence-based medicine and are built for safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Unit Responsibilities
- See Patients in the Well-Newborn Nursery
- About 1,500 Deliveries
- Attend Low-Risk Deliveries
- Perform Circumcisions

Key Responsibilities
Provide daytime in-house coverage for the well-newborn nursery and attend low-risk deliveries. Perform circumcisions and collaborate with neonatologists to ensure safe and effective neonatal care.
Requirements
Must be a qualified Pediatrician capable of managing newborn care in a hospital setting. Ability to perform circumcisions and work within a collaborative neonatal care team is required.
