Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive on-site physical therapy services to eligible students.
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine students' physical therapy needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans consistent with each student's IEP goals and educational objectives.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve strength, balance, coordination, endurance, mobility, posture, gross motor skills, and functional independence.
Requirements
- Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
- Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
- Current, valid, and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the State of North Dakota.
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a school-based setting.
