Key Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist organizes and conducts therapy programs using various activities to help patients regain functioning in mental health and daily living skills or adjust to handicaps. This role involves teaching necessary skills, evaluating patient reactions to the program, and preparing progress reports.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, holding at least a Bachelor's degree, and possess current Louisiana State Occupational Therapy Licensure and BLS Certification. Required soft skills include good interpersonal, communication, teamwork, critical thinking, decision-making, and superior organizational abilities.
