Key Responsibilities
Physical Therapist Assistants provide individualized patient care and implement treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist. They are also responsible for monitoring patient progress and educating patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an associate degree from an accredited program and possess current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. A minimum of two years of experience is required, along with BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days.
