Key Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist will perform respiratory care procedures, manage mechanical ventilators, and monitor resident respiratory status under physician direction. They are also responsible for documenting care, educating residents and staff, and participating as an active member of the resident care team.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a current Maryland license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and have at least one year of clinical respiratory experience. Current CPR certification and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting residents are also required.
