About the Role
Join NYU Langone Health as a Occupational Therapist Per Visit, Home Health Care / Western Nassau / Long Island in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Interacts and collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and health care goals.
- Educates patient and family regarding patient's functional status and plan of care. Provides home exercise program and instruct on home safety factors.
- assesses patient progress toward short term/long term goals and modifies the plan of care accordingly.
Requirements
- * Assists leadership with achieving corporate goals, improving quality of patient care outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Participates in Agency quality assessment/performance improvement initiatives.
- Minimum Qualifications: To qualify, you must have a Bachelor's Degree Occupational Therapy (Accreditation Council of Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) approved NYS OT program).
- Current and valid NYS Occupational Therapy license and registration.
Benefits & Compensation
- Hourly rate: $75/hr.
