Position Summary
- Responsible for the care of rehabilitation patients with speech and language disorders, swallowing disorders, hearing disorders and/or cognitive disorders.
Education
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
Licenses and Certification
- Illinois license Speech Language Pathology or eligible
- BLS
Experience and Skills
- Technical Experience: N/A
- Performs thorough evaluation
- Develops and implements appropriate Plan of Care
- Documentation is accurate, complete and timely
- Provides supervision to assistants, rehab techs, and students

Key Responsibilities
The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, swallowing, hearing, and cognitive disorders. They must develop and implement appropriate care plans while maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and possess or be eligible for an Illinois state license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required for this role.
