Key Responsibilities

The Director oversees the operations of the Animal Care Facility, ensuring clinical care and facility standards are met in accordance with regulatory requirements. They also manage the on and off-campus use of animals in research and provide leadership for the facility's personnel and budget.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent and possess at least five years of experience in veterinary or animal care facilities. Strong knowledge of the Animal Welfare Act and AAALAC accreditation processes is required.
