UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to join
our respected behavioral health team and help shape the future of psychiatric
care in the region. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who is passionate

Aspects of Your Role Include

• Inpatient-focused role working with adult, child and adolescent psychiatric

• 42-bed inpatient psychiatric unit, including 26 adult beds and 16 child and

• Multidisciplinary team including LCSWs, LMFT, pharmacist and recreational

• ED with dedicated psychiatry rooms and 24-hour crisis intervention team

• Academic appointment and teaching opportunities with the University of

• Strong collaboration with primary care and specialty providers throughout

Qualifications

• MD or DO; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

• Active Illinois medical license and DEA license or ability to obtain
