Key Responsibilities

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant performs services planned, delegated, and supervised by the Occupational Therapist. This role involves participating in the rehabilitative plan of care designed by the Occupational Therapist and physician.

Licensure & Certifications

Candidates must graduate from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants program with an Associate’s Degree approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Applicants must also be licensed or certified by the state and have received certification from the NBCOT.
