UF Health Medical Group in Leesburg, Florida and The Villages, Florida is seeking a full-time General Surgeon to join its General Surgery Department.

Board Certified or Board Eligible. Experienced and recent graduates are welcome.

To provide, establish and execute best practice strategies and quality outcomes.

Manage strategic clinical relationships with regional physicians and collaborate with the VP of Strategic Service Lines for marketing and Business Development activities. Setting major goals to align with broad functional objectives for General Surgery also aids in developing patient care pathways.

The aim is to build a patient-centered team of professionals in Central Florida to enhance General Surgery health, provide top-notch outcomes for interventions, and minimize costs.

Expected Salary

Commensurate with experience and education.

Required Qualifications

Licensed to practice medicine in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes* plus four years of appropriate experience. Completion of a residency program may substitute for the required experience.

Preferred: Specialty License or Certification; Board certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty; Certification/Licensure in the state of Florida and Federal DEA Certification. Special Instructions to Applicants:
