About the Role
Long-term care pharmacist in Norcross, GA. Review prescriptions, collaborate with healthcare team, ensure medication safety. Closed-door pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Review prescriptions issued by prescribers to assure accuracy and determine formulas or ingredients needed.
- Evaluate prescriber medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, route of administration and stability. Make recommendations for medication therapy changes to prescribers as appropriate.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide clinical and technical support as needed.
- Document all communication with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Graduate of ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Current licensure in the state of practice.
- Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred.
- Experience in patient care and medication management, drug therapy monitoring, drug and medical supply procurement, inventory control management, and performance improvement.
Work Schedule
- Full-Time position.
- No call required.
- No weekends required.
This position offers no call requirements, weekends off. Work with Pruitt Health in Norcross, Georgia.
