This position is based in Carrollton, Georgia at one of Tanner Health's
Hospitals. This role is eligible for Relocation and a Sign On Bonus. 

The Registered Respiratory Therapist performs Cardiopulmonary duties following
hospital policy/procedure under general supervision. This can include
administering respiratory treatments, airway management, ventilator management,
blood gases, and other noninvasive cardiology procedures. This individual will
be held to a high level of customer service representation and will be an active
participant in the continuous quality improvement process. Serves as a resource
to other employees.

Qualifications

Area of Responsibilities
*Administers respiratory treatments and oxygen therapy correctly and in a timely
manner. Participates in airway management during CODEs. Performs ventilator care
according to established policy and protocols. Must be able to set priorities to
complete daily assignments.
*Demonstrates the ability to coordinate cardiopulmonary care of the patient with
other departments which fosters multidisciplinary care planning.
*Participates in Performance improvement activities by helping to identify,
monitor, and achieve improvement goals established by the department
*Provides exceptional customer service to patients, families, visitor,
physicians, and other employees. Through the established systems and protocols
used to evaluate staff for excellent customer service employee will achieve the
set goals.
*Working knowledgeable of departmental policies and procedures and standards of
care practice. Documentation is in compliance with hospital policy and
regulatory agencies.
*Accountable for use and ordering of supplies and maintaining inventory
*Accurately evaluates self and meets pre-established professional goals.
*Acts as preceptor/mentor for students and new employees.
*Complies with standards set forth by the Joint commission and other regulatory
agencies.
*Demonstrates awareness of policies and procedures regarding restraints and
administers procedures appropriately to restrained patients.
