Job Description
The Allegheny Health Network (AHN), Surgery Institute is recruiting a Colon and Rectal Surgeon to join our team serving the greater Erie area.
Play an essential role in providing surgical care to an integrated health care delivery network that includes 14 hospitals, including 4 neighborhood hospitals, and several ambulatory surgery centers.
Provide expertise for patients with colorectal conditions necessitating surgeries using the latest therapies, including robotic surgery and less-invasive treatments.
We welcome established physicians as well as support newer physicians who are looking to develop their skills alongside knowledgeable mentors. This position offers an ideal opportunity for leadership, professional growth, and research.

- MD or DO degree and considered board certified/eligible in Colorectal Surgery
- BC/BE in Colorectal Surgery
- Licensure in good standing in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment

Key Responsibilities
The surgeon will provide expert colorectal surgical care using advanced therapies including robotic and minimally invasive techniques. They will also participate in a collegial environment with clinical support staff and have opportunities for leadership and research.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and be board certified or eligible in Colorectal Surgery. Pennsylvania medical licensure, DEA registration, and CPR certification are required prior to employment.
