Job Description
Full-time| M-F, 8am-4:30pm| PG13| Weekly earned wage access is an option for
this position.
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Oncology Case Manager oversees cancer and
oncology referrals and coordinates access to facilities that can meet the needs
of our patients. You will report to the Manager.
Primary Tasks
1. Communicate with facilities to schedule biopsies and ensure required
documentation is received.
2. Request necessary imaging or respond to requests for imaging from outside
facilities; request records and pathology reports for follow-up after
biopsy.
3. Work with the Oncology Nurse and Indian Navigators for urgent orders and to
provide continuous care.
4. Assist in setting up infusions and injections at our facilities, arrange
transportation, including fuel vouchers, for chemotherapy, radiation, and
biopsy appointments.
5. Anticipate and evaluate discharge needs, coordinate with multi-health care
discipline in planning for care after discharge or treatment.
6. Provide referral management based on the CRC medical priority guidelines.
7. Obtain prior authorization that requires in-depth medical knowledge.
8. Prepare and maintain written case records and reports.
9. Facilitate communication between care providers.
10. Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Required Education, Skills and Experience
* Associate degree in nursing
* Current RN licensure in state of Oklahoma. (or Multi-State Nursing License)
* Current Basic Life Support certification
* Two [2] years of oncology related experience

The Oncology Case Manager coordinates patient referrals, schedules biopsies, and manages imaging and pathology records. They also facilitate care planning, assist with treatment logistics like infusions and transportation, and maintain detailed case records.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an Associate degree in nursing and a current RN license in Oklahoma or a multi-state license. Additionally, a Basic Life Support certification and at least two years of oncology-related experience are required.
