Job Description
Staff pharmacists process/verify orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information. Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.
Education
- Required: Bachelor's in pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
- Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency

- Preferred: 2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency training

Key Responsibilities
Staff pharmacists are responsible for processing and verifying medication orders while monitoring patient medication therapies. They also provide drug information and supervise support personnel within the pharmacy department.
Requirements
