Key Responsibilities
- Injury Care and Rehabilitation.
- Provide on‑site evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for work-related and private insurance musculoskeletal injuries for law enforcement, fire, and other public safety personnel.
- Conduct functional duty assessments and provide clear recommendations regarding return-to-duty, duty modifications, and work restrictions.
- Develop and progress individualized, evidence-informed rehabilitation plans tailored to the specific physical demands of public safety work.
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited program.
- Minimum of 3 years of outpatient orthopedic and/or sports medicine experience.
- Current Physical Therapist licensure in Nevada or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date.
- Demonstrated experience managing active, high-demand populations.
