Job Description
- Bassett Healthcare Network, in central New York is seeking a full-time BC/BE Infectious Disease Physician.
- Salary Range: $270,000 - $300,000.
- Sign-On Bonus: up to $100,000
- Location: Cooperstown, NY
- Job Description & Responsibilities
- Join an established group of 3 physicians
- Inpatient and outpatient consults
- Outpatient longitudinal HIV care
- Infectious disease call by phone is 1:4
- Opportunity to cover telehealth for non-affiliated hospitals
- Opportunity to do clinical research, stewardship, and infection control
- Moonlighting opportunities for inpatient internal medicine as a hospitalist

With a faculty appointment from Columbia, there is daily interaction with medical students as well as internal medicine and transitional residents
- MD, DO or MBBS
- BC/BE
- Completion of an accredited USA Infectious Disease Fellowship
- New York State Licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS certification
Compensation
Salary Range: $270,000 - $300,000.
This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
Sign-On bonus: up to $100,000
Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.

Key Responsibilities
The physician will provide inpatient and outpatient infectious disease consultations, including longitudinal HIV care and infection control. Additionally, the role involves teaching medical students and residents while participating in clinical research and stewardship programs.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an MD, DO, or MBBS degree and have completed an accredited USA Infectious Disease Fellowship. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible and possess or be eligible for New York State licensure.
