Join our growing organization and be a part of a rewarding career. We are currently seeking a per-diem Physician to join our team at Autry State Prison located in Pelham, Georgia.
The Physician provides medical assessments and evaluations, provides treatment for emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues, provides and supervises medical treatment for chronic medical conditions, and participates in organizational initiatives to help prevent diseases and injuries of patients in a correctional setting.
The Physician works under the direction of the Site Medical Director and/or the Statewide Medical Director in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure that efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided.
Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required Active and unrestricted MD/DO license or the ability to obtain one required BE eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine required Ability to pass credentialing and background check Centurion Health contracts with state and local governments nationwide to provide comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings.

Requirements
Candidates must hold a medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited school and possess an active, unrestricted license. Board eligibility in Family, Internal, or Emergency Medicine is required, along with the ability to pass a background check.
