Key Responsibilities
- Duties and Responsibilities Examines patient, performs comprehensive physical examination, and compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
- Treats illnesses, abscesses, skin injuries, malignancies, skin infections, and other skin conditions Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, and other procedures as appropriate.
- Assists Physician(s) in surgical procedures, surgically excises cutaneous malignancies, cysts, birthmarks, and other growths, suturing, wound care, and other procedures as appropriate.
Requirements
- Experience Requirements Minimum two years of work experience as a Dermatology provider.
- MA/clinical rotation experience is not applicable.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements Thorough knowledge of medical terminology, required.
- Thorough knowledge of medical billing coding, including CPT and ICD-10 coding, required.
