Job Description
The Physician Assistant assesses, plans and provides patient care under the supervision of a physician. Examines patient, performs comprehensive physical examinations, and compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
Relies on education, experience, professional training and judgment to accomplish responsibilities. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Works under minimal supervision. May lead and direct the work of others within scope of practice.

Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Medicine or Health Sciences and have at least one year of experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Licensure from the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners and NCCPA certification are required.
