Join National Heritage Academies as a School Social Worker at PrepNet Virtual Academy (Part Time) in United States. This position is part time, 16 hours per week. School Information: Based in Michigan, PrepNet Virtual Academy opened in 2020 and serves students K-12 online.

Key Responsibilities

Provide group and individual counseling sessions to general education students, as well as monitor the students’ responses to the interventions identified.

Develop and monitor student responses to behavior intervention plans, including providing support and consultation to general and special education teachers.

Complete psychosocial assessments to assist in the determination of special education services.

Conduct functional behavior assessments and communicate the results to all team members in parent

Requirements

Hold a master's degree in social work; exceptions apply in North Carolina and Ohio

Hold a valid social work license issued in the state you are applying for.

Candidates for positions in Michigan must have state approval as a school social worker.

Knowledge of special education processes and procedures is preferred.
