Position: Respiratory Therapist - Per Diem (on call)
Experience
Minimum of 600 hours of clinical experience in a CoARC accredited Respiratory Care Program.
Education
1. Graduate of a CoARC accredited Respiratory Therapist Program.
2. Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3. Completion of CEU requirement in accordance with licensure standards.
Licensures/Certifications
1. Registry eligible or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
2. PA state licensure or temporary permit required.
3. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
Key Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist will assess patients and facilitate care through diagnostic modalities and pulmonary disease prevention. They will also collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to provide superior respiratory care.
Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of a CoARC accredited Respiratory Therapist program with at least 600 hours of clinical experience. An Associate degree, PA state licensure, and BLS certification are required.
