Job Description
Position Type: Therapist (Minimum 15 clinical hours per week). Through a respectful, constructive and energetic style, guided by the mission of the center, the Therapist is responsible for seeking to facilitate the work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of their clients.
Primary Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Counseling
- Counsel clients or patients in individual or group sessions to assist in overcoming dependencies or adjusting to life.
- Guide clients in developing skills and strategies for dealing with their problems.
- Evaluate clients' physical or mental condition based on review of client information.
- Make internal referrals to IOP if little to no improvement occurs within 8 weeks of therapy.
Treatment Planning & Collaboration
- Develop and implement treatment plans with SMART goals based on clinical experience.
- Collaborate with staff members for clinical assessments and treatment plans when establishing care.
- Refer patients or family members to community resources or specialists as necessary.
Documentation & Professional Development
- Maintain client-related paperwork, including diagnostic records and progress notes.
- Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports.
- Stay updated on new counseling developments by reading professional literature and attending seminars.
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience
Credentials: Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work required.
Current state licensure as a therapist (e. g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW) preferred.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a client load of at least 15 clinical hours per week.
