Vision Therapist

Join Essential Eyecare & Optical as a Vision Therapist in Longwood, Florida.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and monitor individualized vision therapy programs for patients of all ages.

• Conduct vision therapy sessions targeting conditions such as amblyopia, strabismus, convergence insufficiency, and binocular vision disorders.

• Perform and document pre- and post-therapy visual assessments and progress evaluations.

• Collaborate closely with optometrists to develop and adjust treatment plans.

Requirements

• Experience in vision therapy or a clinical optometry setting strongly preferred.

• COVT (Certified Optometric Vision Therapist) certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

• Familiarity with binocular vision, orthoptics, and neuro-optometric rehabilitation.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with pediatric and adult patients.

Benefits & Compensation

• Pay rate: hour2 - hour8/hour.
