Therapist SUD Children

Key Responsibilities

The therapist is responsible for managing a caseload of children and families with substance abuse or mental health diagnoses, including conducting intake assessments and providing direct clinical treatment. They must also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with agency and funding requirements.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling and possess or be eligible for Michigan state licensure. Additionally, the role requires a CAADC credential or an active development plan and one year of relevant experience in mental health or substance use disorders.
