Join Allegheny Intermediate Unit as a Preschool Early Intervention Speech and Language Pathologist, Itinerant: Hampton, Pine Richland, Fox Chapel, NH, NA, Shaler in Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities
- Individualized Education Program development, to maintain compliance with state and federal child find regulations.
- Implements individual, group, and/or classroom speech therapy services in accordance with the child’s Individualized Education Program to meet the needs of students across a variety of settings.
- Represents and promotes the AIU and Preschool Early Intervention by partnering with internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain relationships that effectively support families and advance student outcomes.
- Maintains required paperwork within timelines including Reevaluation Report,.
Requirements
- Valid PA certification in Speech Language Impaired K-12 required.
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or a Clinical Fellow candidate who has passed the ASHA exam required.
- Ability to travel throughout the county required.
