Key Responsibilities

• The Registered Dietitian I consults with a higher-level dietitian for guidance of complex patients or issues when appropriate.

• Identifies nutrition problem and their etiologies Develops and implements nutrition interventions focused on the etiologies of the nutrition problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree from an accredited college or university in Food Science, Nutrition, or Dietetics.

• Comprehensive knowledge and application of medical nutrition therapy.

• Critical thinking to integrate facts, informed opinions, and observations to support decision-making in patient care.
