Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ speech, language, and hearing abilities, recommending strategies to enhance communication and hearing.
- Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, including OASIS evaluation and documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members on care plans and provide speech pathology training to team members as needed.
- Communicate regularly with physicians, addressing any changes in patient condition.
Requirements
- Must have a current SLP license (state
- Graduate of an accredited speech language pathology program.
- Valid BLS certification.
- Minimum two years of speech therapy experience (home health experience preferred).
