The Medical Director serves as a senior clinical advisor providing expertise on substance use programs, clinical standards, and service design. They collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support organizational decision-making, policy implementation, and cross-system coordination.
Candidates must possess a current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas and board certification in a relevant medical specialty, preferably Addiction Medicine or Addiction Psychiatry. Extensive experience in healthcare administration, medical leadership, or clinical practice within behavioral health or public health systems is required.
