Job Description
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) – Mississippi
We have an opening for a Mississippi-licensed LPC to provide remote counseling on a full-time schedule. The position involves working with adults and/or adolescents who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, or major changes in their personal lives. You will be responsible for your own appointments, clinical notes, and follow-up with clients throughout the course of care.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year
- Work Setting: Remote/Telehealth
Typical Work Includes
- Meeting with clients through scheduled video sessions
- Completing intake interviews and reviewing client history
- Discussing the main concerns bringing clients to counseling
- Helping clients work through emotional and behavioral issues
- Recording session details and keeping files current
- Following up on changes or concerns between visits
- Referring clients for other services when needed
- Following Mississippi licensing, privacy, and telehealth requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling or a related mental health field
- Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Mississippi
- At least 2 years of counseling experience preferred
- Experience providing telehealth or virtual counseling is preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
- Comfortable using online platforms and electronic health record systems

Key Responsibilities
The counselor will provide remote mental health services to adults and adolescents, including conducting intake interviews and managing ongoing therapy sessions. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate clinical documentation and coordinating follow-up care for clients.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Counseling or a related field and possess an active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Mississippi. At least two years of counseling experience and proficiency with telehealth platforms are preferred.
