The Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for managing and delivering patient care, including administering therapeutic services and performing diagnostic tests. They also assist physicians during procedures, perform arterial punctures, and maintain documentation for PAP therapy.
Candidates must hold RCP and RRT certifications, with graduates allowed 12 months to obtain registration. Additionally, BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association are required.
