Key Responsibilities
The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct home visits to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties. Responsibilities also include developing and revising treatment plans, participating in multidisciplinary care planning, and educating patients and families on necessary rehabilitative activities.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a current Speech Language Pathologist license in Virginia and meet ASHA certification requirements, or be in the process of meeting them. Solid computer skills are necessary, with prior experience using electronic medical records preferred.
