Description: Speech Language Pathologist- Assistant

• This position addresses current student speech therapy needs at several schools. If the current school should experience a change in student needs, the individual filling this position may support team members at additional locations within the network where needs are demonstrated. This could occur at any time during the school year, but often with notice.
• Candidate should have a strong background in therapeutic and behavioral intervention (resource) strategies. Able to implement therapeutic strategies for speech, language, fluency, pragmatic and voice remediation as directed by the supervising SLP. Required Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree and qualifications consistent with Colorado Department of Education. *OR Bachelor's degree in any major + ASHA C-Assistant
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining a CDE- SLP-A License
• Criminal background check required for hire ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ROLE-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Run and treat speech therapy groups in compliance with their directed minutes
• Collaborate and consult with SLP
• Keep direct and indirect services logs including progress toward IEP goals
