Job DetailsJob Location: VAPosition Type: Part TimeEducation Level: Graduate DegreeJob Shift: DayBlue Mountain Therapy has an immediate need for an Early Intervention Occupational Therapist in Virginia. Other positions/locations also available.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists the IFSP team to complete an assessment to determine age-equivalent scores in the area(s) of development that are being assessed in accordance with state mandated time guidelines.
- Helps the IFSP team to develop an IFSP that focuses on the child’s needs and that of the parent(s)/caregiver(s) desire for the child in accordance with state mandated time guidelines.
- Provides occupational therapy as prescribed by the physician and outlined in the IFSP by the IFSP team.
- Schedules initial treatment session in accordance with state mandated time guidelines and continues to follow the treatment frequency outlined in the IFSP.
Requirements
- Is eligible for the National Registration Examination of AOTA.
- Currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing.
- Two years’ experience, preferred.
