Job Description

About This Role

As a Physician in Neurology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will see a broad variety of neurology patients in an outpatient clinic setting.

This position includes a $50,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 in relocation assistance, and $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable. This position is also eligible to receive a residency stipend for candidates completing training.

  • You will practice at Southwest Neurology Associates in St. George, UT
  • You will see patients in clinic four days per week (32 patient facing contact hours)
  • This is an outpatient position with no inpatient requirement
  • No after-hours call
  • You’ll join three APPs and five other neurologists
  • We’re looking for a general neurologist, but can easily accommodate subspecialty interests

What You’ll Bring

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Residency training in Neurology
  • Board certification or eligibility in Neurology
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
  • Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis

Key Responsibilities

The neurologist will provide quality care to a broad variety of patients in an outpatient clinic setting four days per week. The role involves working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including APPs and other neurologists, without any inpatient or after-hours call requirements.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and have completed residency training in Neurology. Applicants are required to possess or be eligible for an active, unobstructed Utah medical license and board certification in Neurology.
